Daily Mood Quote:
Day Five - May 9, 2011
Always be a first-rate version of yourself, instead of a second-rate version of someone else.
~Judy Garland
Do you work to be accepted, do you change your behavior to fit in? Have you calculated the amount of energy it takes, to be everything to everyone all the time? If one is to observe truly successful people, you will find that they are always true to themselves. When they are not, they are not... It takes a certain courage to be true to yourself in today's 24/7 news cycle, rush to judgement world, but those who are, often find themselves suddenly in front of the pack, not behind.
To be true to yourself begins by asking not who am I, but what is the best version of me. We all have pluses and minuses. The trick is to prefer the positive.

“You've got to accentuate the positive
Eliminate the negative
Latch on to the affirmative
Don't mess with Mister In-Between”
