Daily Mood Quote
Day 42 – June 15, 2011
“Blessed are they that have nothing to say, and who cannot be persuaded to say it.”
~James Russell Lowell
“Smile and others will smile back. Smile to show how transparent, how candid you are. Smile if you have nothing to say. Most of all, do not hide the fact you have nothing to say nor your total indifference to others. Let this emptiness, this profound indifference shine out spontaneously in your smile.”
~Jean Baudrillard
Today, I woke up to the morning clouds, chilly winds and a feeling that is indifferent. Not much to say today. SO, that's the mood for the day. I believe it's better to be honest about your feelings, than to force something that's just not there. Too often people write, or speak or make up stuff just to fill a void. Sometimes the void is what is required, the empty vessel. It's been said that only by being empty can we be filled with new knowledge. You can't learn if you “know it all”. Today I'm open to learning. Oh yes, I hate the process of menopause. I have learned this and realize the problem (process of menopause) is not with anyone else, it is within me (Thanks Kung Fu Panda 2). So, I have found inner peace... well sort of, right until the hormones take over again. Ugh!
How will you be open to learning today?
Tune in tomorrow to read the daily mood quote
Thank you for reading
